This Turbaned man from Rajhastan was waiting on the ghats in Varanasi for his group of fellow pilgrims to finish their morning prayers. Taken from a series shot during two journeys to Varanasi and the surrounding areas in 2002 and 2006. The collection of photographs follow the Pilgrims around the ancient city and along the banks of the river Ganges during the Makar Sankranti festival held every January.
