In 1988 as a young photographer and big Jazz fan I drove down to the Nice Jazz Festival to run a t-shirt stall for a photo library to take pictures of some of the greatest musicians of the 20th century. Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, George Benson, Sonny Rollins, Art Blakey and James Brown were all performing in the same week. What a treat that was.
I followed the music scene in the UK for the National press and music magazines between 1988 and 1991, shooting on negative and transparency using my trusty Canon AE1.
Im going through my archive and selecting a some of the best pictures to make as signed limited editioned prints, available for a limited time period
