Arriving in the Arlberg mountains in Austria for the first time on an assignment, I was so excited to find an environment of such beauty and rich visual choice. I was inspired to return many times during all seasons and build a collection of photographs that would echo my experience of being there. Of all the places I’ve visited the Arlberg is, without doubt, one of my favourites. The sense of freedom and exhilaration I experience when I arrive there is immeasurable; there’s no better environment to work in. The villages have managed to retain a traditional charm that is lost in so many resorts and the people are untiringly warm and welcoming.
